Tasty for those that are 21 years of age or older please!
Some say meyer lemons are best but I disagree, they are more difficult to peel without having a lot of the white pith still attached. I felt regular grocery store lemons worked better and had a smoother final taste.
For the Sgroppino cooler, I used 2 lemon popsicles and a mini food processor and had very smooth results. Plus since I didn't have sparkling wine up north I used club soda and it was just as yum and a bit lower in alcohol, which is smart when out in the sun!
